Acrylic
The frameless acrylic face mount offers a modern and clear display. I use the optimum face mount method, where the image is printed on fine art archival grade paper and then face-mounted to acrylic for optimal vibrancy, color accuracy and longevity. This method utilizes only archival materials such as pigmented inks and fine art papers with permanence and longevity of over a hundred years, certified by the Wilhelm Imaging Research. Unlike traditional glass, where light simply passes through, the light refracts within the acrylic creating vibrancy, particularly when paired with metallic paper and adequate lighting. The mounting includes a Dibond backing (hard plastic core faced by two thin sheets of aluminum, lightweight but very rigid). Your piece arrives ready to hang and float off the wall for a modern look.
Hang/Float hardware options: Aluminum/Cleat or Wood/Wire
